What’s New at the Resorts?

Maybe you heard - it snowed last week. A lot. I follow the resorts on Facebook to get the most recent important updates. I’d also like to give a shout out to Opensnow.com where Joel Gratz has the best powder/snow forecasts. I’ve got some terrain updates here but please check the links I’ve provided to get the very latest scoop.

I was there for the Keystone Outback opening. It was the best coverage I have ever seen for opening! Also, the snow fort opened. Yeah!! Night skiing is open every night over the holidays, but it will be closed here and there.

Santa’s making a visit to Copper Mountain on Christmas Eve, along with fireworks and a torchlight parade. Also the Kokomo, Resolution, and Lumberjack lifts opened.

Breckenridge opened up back bowls, Horseshoe bowl and peaks 7 & 8. Downtown Breck has lots going on for New Year’s Eve, including a torchlight parade.

West Wall and Pali opened up at Arapahoe Basin, check the latest status here. Santa’s also going to swing by on Christmas Eve, during the day (he’ll have to scoot over to Copper later).
